Ceramic objects
Atlas of Small Joys explores the transformation of everyday found objects into ceramic forms, creating an intimate archive of memory, care, and personal mythology. By preserving overlooked fragments of daily life, the project reveals the quiet poetry of ordinary things and the emotional narratives they continue to carry.
Memory and Care
Atlas of Small Joys grows out of a long-term practice of collecting small found objects that may appear insignificant at first glance but carry personal memories, emotions, and stories. Through drawing and their transformation into ceramic forms, these everyday fragments become part of an evolving archive where care, attention, and personal mythology intertwine.
Collecting and Rituals
The installation is composed of hand-carved wooden tables with carved recesses shaped specifically for each ceramic object. Visitors are invited to pick up, move, and rearrange the pieces, encouraging close observation and playful interaction. By slowing down, lowering themselves to the level of the work, and engaging with it through touch, viewers become part of a quiet ritual of imagination, care, and a renewed way of perceiving the everyday.
